Author and MAARC Club Member Alan Douglas has Passed Away

MAARC member Alan Douglas, age 72, recently passed away. Alan was a frequent contributor to the Antique Radio Forum, and the author of four books: "Radio Manufacturers of the 1920's - Volumes 1, 2, and 3", and "Tube Testers and Classic Electronic Test Gear".

MAARC Participates in Capital Audiofest 2015

MAARC members attending the 2015 Capital Audiofest, August 28-30, Hilton Hotel - Rockville, MD manned a MAARC table. Exhibiting member-restored vintage audio gear and a tube tester, show attendees enthusiastically asked about the equipment and MAARC. Handouts included a MAARC overview flier, membership applications, and invites to our upcoming RadioFallfest taking place in October. Many indicated their interest in visiting one of our monthly meetings.
