The July MAARC meeting convened on Sunday, July 21, 2002. Despite the heat
and humidity, there was a good crowd and much activity. The flea market
prior to the meeting was very active with many excellent items and lots of
buying and selling. The meeting started around 2:00 PM.with a few short
‘show and tell’ items of general interest.
Brian Belanger gave an excellent presentation on transformers and chokes. He pointed to several references and showed how to identify values from the lead colors and the use of an ohmmeter. Brian plans to write his presentation in a newsletter article in the future. This month’s auction was especially interesting considering the number of high quality and interesting items. |
